   I got my phone to tether with my laptop, now it seems my 3G doesn’t work. I have no internet access on my iphone but can use the tether with my laptop. How can I get my 3G working again?

   I thought iphone tethered meant that your jailbreak will go away when you restart your iphone? And can anyone confirm that jailbroken iphones are tethered or not?

    Doesn’t work. Killed my 3G connection on iphone. I had to reset network settings to restore.

    Its working great for me,,,,,followed every step to the end with iphone 3GS 32G / 3.1.2 firmware. The main concer is ” Does ATT charge for tethering ? and info please !!!!!

    AT&T can always tell the difference from tethering or not tethering being that the iphone is not the only phone that can tether ^__^ they just may not have it setup to charge you yet being that your not suppose to be able to do it.

    So i tried this on my iphone.. followed instructions above but when I went to network on settings, i see no tethering option.. what did I do wrong.. phone is 3g with version 3.1.2 modem firmware of 05.11.07.. any suggestions.. stupid user error i am sure. :0

    um…do we trust that website enough to be installing their software onto our iPhones? i think not guys!
