I thought when join networks is off that only known networks are joined and any other network would have to be manually selected. My iphone states “If no known networks are available, you will have to manually select the network.

Good Vid, I noticed when you went into settings, there was a notificaitons option, I don’t see that in mine. It has VPN in that spot. I checked and I have versions 3.1. Is it a setting someware to have that option?

Forget AT&T and their $80/mo. Unlock your iPhone with this free program, SoftUnlock. com

Then go with T-Mobile for under $30/mo.

How much do you save on battery life when applying these tips? Do you know where I can find a sheet on battery life of the iphone with different settings on and off. Do you know where I can find experiences on the life of an iphone battery, so I know when to change it. Apparantly one can not swap the battery like in other smartphones. The Apple store said it could cost 90 dollars to swap!!!

I usually get just over 3:30 in my battery when it becomes red…everything turned off but wifi and 3G. Sometimes I forget location services is on and that decreases my time by like 10-20 minutes. I use YouTube a lot which is think is the main problem :P !
