Is the iPhone 3GS worth the upgrade? Well, that depends. Now, that I’ve had a little time to play with it I can confidently say that the new iPhone is a nice upgrade but ultimately not an essential one for most. For users that have been using the iPhone as a gaming platform mainly or coveting the ability to take video with their cell phone, the iPhone 3GS may be worth the upgrade price. The clips 1:15 mark transition from Compass to Google Maps is Very impressive.
New Android apps should include Public Transit data – like Bus Stops bus schedule postings..
Those schedules can be culled to next 3 due buses (date/clock function).
Before “Hail Taxi!”, bus might be closer/faster..
There are dozens of other spin offs as well.
Instead of waiting at bus stops, walking to Next Stop can be alarmed prompt..
Bus Stops have GPS..
